shopping trip: part 3 (cemetery in Islamic Cairo--city of the dead)

It was surreal to see people living in the cemeteries of Cairo...so I insisted that Abdul (officially my bff after 45 min. together--though I was wondering if we were more considering he kept squeezing my knee and touching me) drive me through one of the ones we saw...it was creepy and reminded me of Zeitoun Khan in Aleppo (how's that for obscure references)...the people were a little aggressive about us driving through their hood and yelled at us a few times...oh well, I'm an ignorant westerner anyway...
